3. Voice Data Processing

Your privacy regarding voice data is critical to us:

• Temporary Storage: Voice recordings are stored only as long as necessary to process transcription (typically less than 60 seconds).
• Automatic Deletion: Once transcribed, the original audio file is automatically deleted from our servers.
• Third-Party Transcription: We use OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription. Audio is sent securely and is not stored by OpenAI per their data processing policies.
• Encrypted Transmission: All voice data is transmitted using TLS encryption.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf:

• OpenAI: For voice transcription services
• Stripe: For payment processing

When you connect Blurts to third-party services (Notion, Todoist, Google Tasks), we share only the data necessary to sync your captured thoughts to those platforms. You control which content is synced.

• Payment Information: Stored securely by Stripe, not on our servers
• Usage Logs: Retained for 90 days for analytics and troubleshooting
